WE DO THE HARD WORK
Most people don’t think about their firewood during the Spring and Summer months but these are perhaps the better months to have the work done as your split firewood will dry and season a lot faster, ready for when you will need it in the cooler Autumn and chilly Winter months here in Australia.
As a rough guide depending on access and how close I can get the machine to your rounds I would expect to split between three and four ton’s per hour. I have a 3mt boom fitted and so I can easily load the split firewood onto your truck, trailer or Ute or simply pile it at a safe distance away from the work area.

We carry full public liability insurance for your peace of mind whilst we are on your property.
HOW FAR DO WE GO?
We only operate in NSW Australia. As a rough guide we travel up and down the NSW far South coast, from Milton to Narooma and inland out to Braidwood.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You will call an arborist on site to fell any unwanted or dangerous trees that you might have around your property.
The arborist will fell the trees and usually cut and mulch any of the smaller branches and foliage that is too small to be useful for firewood.
He will then cut the trunk up into rounds that will suit the firebox size in your wood fire, (if you arrange this prior to the job), most firewood is usually cut between 300mm-400mm in length. The arborist’s will leave the rounds onsite for you to split.
